Now in the midst of construction is a 1937 Cord 812 Westchester four door. The owner of this car was not satisfied with the original Cords performance. The owner likes the appearance of the factory car and wants the car to appear stock after the modifications. The Guild has been commissioned to restore and customize this vehicle. It will have considerable modifications and improvements, its drive train will consist of a LS-1 Chevrolet V8 mated to a Porsche tip-tronic transmission. This V8 powered front wheel drive will handle corners via upper and lower wish bone suspension. It will handle bumps with coil over suspension and stop via four wheel disc brakes. When this car is finished it will truly be a unique one off production.
